Unknown visitor

OMG I just realized there has been some unknown visitor into our room for a couple of time now!!! And today something just confirmed it!!! EVIDENCE OF OUR ROOM INTRUSION==>

its SMALL FOOT!!!
Its not distinct when taken as a pic, but it was damn clear what THOSE footprints show. Well I had my suspicion b4 this episode...but it also involved a footprint...not on the floor, but even more obvious, well duh coz that UNKNOWN visitor made its mark ON MY NEW CLEAN AND WHITE LAB COAT!!! *ROARRR* But back then, it was just one mark, so i thought maybe I got it from outside?? [don't know how i came to that conclusion, seeing back now how absurb that seemed]
And somehow I have a strong feeling that this unknown visitor has been visiting Us at night?!? EEEKKKK~! well, so far i still got 10 fingers, and 10 toes, so i take it as this visitor is not interested in human meat..phew. And also no food went missing..not that we leave any open [unless our visitor here knows how to cook instant noodles la]
Nevertherless, this still concerns me as since this visitor can come in to god knows do what, I wouldn't want our dear visitor to leave a " visiting gift". SO far its been footprints...next time who knows? I might wake up to "chocolate cake"on my face or step on it when i get down from my bed....Not a great way to start my day.
Or what if our visitor decides that he/she likes to visit us and next time brings along their families?! Gosh, that would be unimaginable....
Not to mention the thought what the unknown visitor did when he/she visits us at night while we were in La la Land.... Ugh okay, no more open windows at night...
Below is a more obvious picture...since i edited it.

NOW ITS CLEAR!!!

Reminiscence

Ah, first year has finally passed...duh, now I'm already 6 months into 2nd Year BDS PIDC. Yeah well, thought i should blog bout them...juz to *ehem* recall those days. Am I being sentimental? Since all my blogs are like always talking bout the past~

PIDC SUMMER BATCH 2007

In the picture above we look like good students hor? Haha, so not lah.

Anyway, there are somethings that I can definitely remember from last year....
For one, how most of us slept in class like nobody's business...haha, can't stand it..the lecture is either too boring or we just couldn't simply understand what are the lecturers saying/ teaching.
Also, lecturers told us that we're too expression-less in class. Whatever the lecturer say/ask, we never gave any reaction. HAHA.
After all it was our first time being exposed to new subjects, I guess you could say its taxing for our mind....

the guys..drained =)

Well, at least one thing you can count on Indian locals here is, like Malays, they need at least 7 breaks in a day...so basically more times than the 5 kali sehari wan sembahyang..its like a religion here. A local Indian, will start the day with breakfast, then next is coffee break, then tea break. Then comes lunch break, followed by tea break. Dinner time comes and ends with supper. See? 7 breaks. And yeah there's no mistake when coffee break is followed by tea break. So we also get breaks la..though not 7 times..juz tea break. HAHA...good enuf anyway.

Us during break time~ [least some are still lively]

ah yes, talk bout sleeping beauties

And yes these ppl are quite daring..but guess they can't hold on anymore huh....even though the lecturer is STILL teaching. haha and yes I curi-curi took this picture...lolz

Up till now the pictures taken are from Anapoorna Hall...so-called lecture hall. As you can see above, Niba and Ash KO-ed..

Wilson, Cai Shan.....Yee Lein [from left]
Whereas for this picture, its taken on 5th floor in some classroom lah...a small one that can barely fit 34 of us...but we're looking lively aren't we? Cuz the lecturers aren't in yet...haha tats why.

Evan, YeeLein[sitting] and KeeYing [standing]

Some chose their time to freshen up, make-up, or some...like below, catch up on their sleep.

Lois[ face up] and Tzi Mun

Haha, so un-glam la the way my roomie sleep..haiyo I apologise on behalf of her loh, since she's known as a sloth...alwaz sleep nia. But this year she more hardworking adi...din sleep so much during class. So must praise her... *applauds Lois*

Tzi Mun,Lois,Pei San and Yin Ci [from left]
Ah this one...haha..too free, and to like stay awake, they decided to do some exercise...haha..no lah actually this one is while they were practicing our cheer for 1st PIDC Cup.
Since our lectures are held either in Vinayaka Medical College or at the Pidc building/hospital, we have to walk lah to either place depending on time table. Check out the journey..haha . The building u see at the end is the Vinayaka Medical College (VMC).

this is from the PIDC building lah..
[Below]From PIDC building to VMC, we use this road...its an offbeat road really, with cowdungs, portholes, mud shacks along the way..haha. There were even cows and goats to accompany us.

Us walking thru treacherous rain!!
Well, if its from the hostel we of course would take a much better road, tho its not so much diff from that off-beaten track. LOLZ. Also its kinda nearer since its a straight road...with speeding buses, motorbikes and zooming cars....owh owh not to forget tractors!! HAHA

Yeah well that pretty much conclude this part of our lives here last year..though there are some more..but i'll blog bout it some other time..haha...can consider this as Part 1 of Life In PIDC India,Salem.

the "REAL" PIDC SUMMER BATCH 2007

Genting trip

While browsing through the pics in my folders, I saw one folder labeled “Genting”. As I looked through the pictures, I couldn’t help smiling. Haha. It sure brings back good memories. Hmm guess I can still blog bout it though its like almost half a year past? Hopefully I can still remember the details lah.

Lets see…we; Mei Yuin and I decided to go on a trip, somewhere before I leave for my 2nd year to India. First we planned to go Langkawi, but since it was close to elections, her mom thought that going there might not be a good idea, so second option would be our topic today. And so we planned it, booked hotels and invited several people~ That’s how Tharash and Mabel came into the picture..
These are the 2 troublemakers. =P
Well, we used the transit system in KL somewhere lah to go up Genting. Meanwhile waiting for the bus, Tharash had breakfast…

Our luggage bags

Then, our bus came, we’re off and after an hour [I think] we reached the cable car station…wohoo, Mei Yuin was so excited!!! She was practically bopping along the way. Haha such a kid lah. *lolz* and yeah she took lotsa pictures.

Fuh, it’s a long way up…[M. Yuin askin are we there yet?]

After the long and ardous journey, traveling with 3 kids in the cable car is mentally tiring…haha. Mei Yuin was snapping pictures like krazyyy, Tharash and Mabel as usual with their out-of-this-world goofiness, I think the height too must be getting to me….you know, high altitudeàhypoxiaà CNS depression. We finally reached there though in one piece..hehe, checked in the hotel and voila, the view we have been well…… anticipating la

Genting Theme Park
Next, we set out to exploreeee, or hunt down for food. Though we reached Genting Highland quite early in the afternoon, since one of us HAVEN’T arrived yet, we couldn’t enter the outdoor theme park… =.=’’’ it’s a pity coz that day it was a SUPER fine weather…cooling, no sun but no mist as well!! It was a day meant for outdoor playing…yeah well, life’s never fair. So me, Meiyuin and Tharash juz hung around indoors, while we wait for Mabel to arrive…By the time Mabel arrived, it was evening so yeah neva mind. There’s still tomorrow aite? So we walked around some more and found a wacky shop that sells weird stuffs? See what the goofballs did at that shop la:
Guess who decided to go shopping?

After those clowns goofed around, they’ve gotten hungry. How to get their battery recharged? Food of course and what better type than those packed with super high level of SUGAR--->
Our candy girl

While I waited for the little kids to finish their candies..we sat down on a bench. There was a small kid sitting on the same bench too. He was absorbed in his Nintendo DS so didn't pay much attention to us. Mabel got interested in what he was playin and kinda stared over his shoulder. Him not liking strangers to stare over his shoulder [who would?] retracted. -__-''' Yah, and I think she did something like, offering him some cotton candy..and started asking him questions i.e whats ur name, where are you parents..bla bla bla....If I were that kid I would have freaked out [lolz no offense mabel]. Well, finally his family came to pick him up and saw us chatting wid him. I think they gave us a kinda weird stare...or was it just me? hMmm
Us eating cotton candy..minus the Nintendo kid.

Then we enter our rooms to rest after walking around for so long...and to bathe. While I collapse on the bed due to exhaustion, as pointed out by them 3 that I looked lethargic, they thought i was sick or something [they didn't know that they were actually the cause.haha..bunch of hyperactive goofballs] They went out hunting for cheap priced dinner. And wow i totally forgot to talk bout how EXPENSIVE the food here is. Its like 2x or 3x the normal price. Haha, the half day we spent walking around was actually to survey places to eat and see the prices. We found all them too much for our student budget trip. Well, neway, thanks to those 3's [mabel, meiyuin and tharash] knack for sniffing out budget food, they found a restaurant, HIDDEN that serves affordable food thats ok in taste also. And they brought back dinner for me too...awesome ppl. Since the night was still young...like it ever gets old in Genting, we went out for some walk again and took pictures!!!

the view while walking to our room

How can I not NOT get exhausted with these ppl?!

the night's pretty misty

No I'm not going to steal the catepillar board and shit that thing is taller than me!!!

Me on the left, Mei Yuin on the right

After playing around in the mist, we retreated into our room, under our warm cozy blankets and ZzZZZ to wake up tomorrow for a FUN filled day.Next day....welll its another story, seems like the mist from last nite had accumulated and refused to leave.....

DAMN IT!!!! Haih, so in the end we wasted so far 1 day and a half.....SO we spent our time playin Indoor games..... Well, its not so bad, i mean the games they had. One thing though..its super expensive la. And sumore they introduced this new credit system..yes, gone are the days tokens are used. NOW its swipe card. Yeah, like those Touch&Go card we need 2 pay first only can use...
Uhh yeah, us playin the Time Crisis thing...
Now this picture is special. Remember when i said the prices of these games are wayyy to expensive? The cost to take photos wid one of these special machines was RM 30!!! WTF?! SUre u can do stuffs wid it like edit it, scribble on ppl's faces and all but 30 bucks is just way ludicrous. SO the solution? Sit in the photo booth, and take picture using our camera!!! *ROFL*

After a while, playin indoors losts its attraction, so we went to check out the weather and voila, its clear..well not exactly clear but its playable conditions....so there we are...OUTDOOR!!
The first ride we went on was umm a roller coaster but its for 4 ppl wan. Forgotten wats the name but what the heck right? As usual there was lotsa ppl in line. While we were queing up, we were entertained but a pair of clowns. He was tying up some ballon thing lah and gave it to Mabel. They conversed a bit in Mandarin...i'm not so sure but they were joking around lah...as I grasp with my broken mandarin. ANd so the line got shorter...and Tharash, being a helpful civilian, told one girl who was wearing a miniskirt, which happen to be above us on the staircase, NOT to stand at the side, coz ppl down there can see whats up. LMAO. Anyway we got our turn and we took a look at the pic taken automatically, liked it and bought it...for fun's sake.
Look, haha our faces are pretty comical
Next ride, I think we went for the Solero Shot...haha the heart-stopping, stomach thru the mouth ride. I wasn't very eager to go on that ride, while the others are like so excited....i still haven't forgotten the last time i sat on it..Ugh. Only 1 sentence to descibe that ride; One moment u're riding up to heaven, next thing u know, u're kicked down to hell. In a WHOOSH~!
Yeah thats the infamous Solero Shot. CHeck out how high is it lah.
Miraculously I survived the drop, and feeling very much alive and kicking, decided to give Corkscrew a ride. After all, if you live thru Solero, you'll live thru anything. bwaHAHAha

Here we are, waiting in line
Ooohh thoughful of the management to provide benches for us. And yes, Mabel is still having that balloon.
Which brings me to the attention of the ballon. Yeah I'm talking bout the one that we got from the clown while waiting to go on the ride. Apparently Mabel has found several "uses" of that ballon.

lets see, clockwise, would be a flea collar? then breast measurer, and unconventional nose plug, and alien antenna...
Now that we have tackled all the adventurous, adrenaline pumping game, its time to take it slow. So we turn our attention to something like this---->
Yippie kai yea

storm in a teacup...

mmmm i like Ribena~
After all said and done, its time to head back. Can't let Mei Yuin's sister wait too long at the cable station. We might just get stranded there if we were late! LOLZ no offense MeiYuin.

umm in tha cable car on the way back. Don't bother bout the last girl at the back. That person is not related in any way to us front 3. =D

Mabel's one last act with da almost deflated ballon...why wouldn't it after so much action she put-ted it thru...
And so thats the end of our trip to Genting. Quite memorable isn't it..especially the ballon scenes. ;)

nonsense~

Yah, today since my hands feel awfully itchy...and to actually use some of my brain cells, so as to keep it active, Yes!! I decided to blog. Bout what? Ahah, since i just woke up from sleep, i shall crap about my sleeping cycle for the past week. *lmao*

Umm, i wouldn't call my sleeping cycle normal anymore, since I *ehem* was known to be "early to bed, early to rise" Well not anymore, I don't know why, BUT i know when, =P, since last week. Yeah. I find that my amount of sleeping time IS NOT ENOUGH. I have hard time waking up, staying awake in classes ( eh usual days I do ok?) or just staying awake to eat..or do anything but sleep... haha.
I've no idea why am i soo sleEpy, though i've got a few theories lah,
i) too much dreaming---> REM sleep keeps my brain working all nite!!
ii) dream hopping---> its like movie marathon the whole night. diff scenes, diff ppl.
iii) according to Lois (roomie) I am stressed due to coming exam...well now its over and i STILL am sleepy
iv) secretly thinks that Sharon's, Niba's and Lois's sleepiness came to me while i leave them all wid insomnia. Whoops, this was suppose to be a secret... ~shhH~ =D
v) Yee Lein says i got African sleeping sickness -_-''' yah sure where am i supp to get bitten by an African FLY?! unless got India version lah.

Yeah well even now after taking a nap straight after class and wakin up 2 hrs later i still feel like falling back into bed and head straight to La la land. Well just INCASE my condition is pathogenic lah...i decided to first take preventive measure...after all, prevention is better than cure.

I googled on how to stay awake....haha. what better way right? Internet are sure damn helpful these centuries. And some of their "recommended" ways I find pretty interesting..maybe, just MAYBE i might try them out. Here goes:-

[1. Staying Awake in Lecture Hall. This is can be a really tough one. The best way to handle this is with multiple tactics:
If allowed, bring coffee, discreet snacks, and gum. (can't, these lecturers, old hags or not they sure got eye of an eagle)
Even if you are not a note taker, start writing down everything the teacher is saying to keep your mind alert. (heck these ppl writings are unreadable. or their pronounciation sucks that in the end i think i juz copied down some mumbo jumbo)
Move as much as you can. Tap your foot or bounce your leg. Switch position in your chair frequently. Stretch. Move your head. Tap your fingers. (do tat and u'll get called out and asked by them, "why are you dancing in my class?"
Pain. This is kind of an emergency procedure. If you can't stay awake consider pinching yourself. I know it's a little strange, but pain can keep you awake. (ah yes, this works, sharon & niba just loveee pinching me)
Stimulating Thoughts: think of something that makes you happy or makes you feel good. I'll leave it at that. (haha yah, it works, but prob is at the end of the class when the lecturers starts asking questions....uh oh)
Online activity: this wasn't around when I was in college, but I would imagine if you're in the back of the class you could surf the web, email your friends, and read Dumb Little Man. (haha this i find hilarious, how the heck am i supp to go on9 la, my coll isn't exactly a 21st century punya building, even though it WAS built recently (i think). And throught wat? laptop..u'd think the lecturers will actually take it as our "notebook" huh. Phone leh...our phone line here ah, suxs to the max la, got 1 line bar consider miracle loh.)
Entertain Yourself: see if you can summon your extrasensory powers by willing someone to look at you. Or try across the room flirting. Why not? (erm, well the purpose we students sits at back of class and not 1st row is NOT to attract lecturer's attention. And if i tried it on my batchmates, i think i might just freak them out or they think I'm into them. HELL NO)but cool, if i do have psychic powers maybe i can read ppl's mind too? =P]

Ah this whole excerpt is copied and pasted here from a website called Dumb Little Man. lolz
A year in making reports at coll sure do taught me how to quote-unquote ppl in case i get sued for plagarism.

Umm another one is by someone nick "BattleHamster" *raised eyebrows*
If your at home, try putting one foot in cold water. For some fun, put the other foot in hot water. (whoa, this is....is this even scientifically working?)

Is it raining out? Lets try some self control exercises. Go out, without a coat or umbrella. Here's the fun part (as you guessed): seeing how long you can stay out. Don't stand under things, unless they're actively dripping on you harder than the rain. Stand under the end of a gutter, eve, grotesque, or other runoff. Try doing some exercise outside. When you finally come back inside, take a hot shower. (ummm i think after taking a hot shower AFTER a cold one will make u even MORE sleepy)

If you're in class or something else important (meeting, conference, etc.) try digging something blunt but sharpish, like the metal tab at the top of a binder, into your palm. The heel of your palm, or the side opposite your thumb. (ah, the pain element. but man this description makes one sound like their self mutilating)

Next, try holding your breath. Once you've done that two or three times, hyperventilate. (ohkay, maybe i can use this)

If you're into drugs, try some speed. Or just lay off the depressants at least. (LOLZ where do I get them ah?)

Okay, i think i entertained my brain enough now. And man, the things ppl do to stay awake. Of coz who am I to say since i will be tryin them out tomorrow...wakaka. However, by the end of the day also, I know I will just collapse on the bed and doze off...zzzZZZZZZZZZZZ

who dunnit?

New post on new blog website. Oh yeah~

Todays topic is a mystery. No suspense intended, actually its more like a detective thingy. *lolz*
Cut the story short, our student representative hold us back in class, to make an announcement, telling us that " There has been a complaint that people from our batch has lodged a complaint against us saying thatttt....2 person from our batch has stolen 2 chairs from the auditorium"
There were eyewitnesses of coz, saying its from out batch. Situation now is the 2 "stolen" chairs were found, and recovered from block 8.

Our reactions were of coz like "What?" is this some sort of a joke? Thats the most absurd thing i've ever heard. Look at it this way.
Fact No.1
-the walk from the auditorium to the hostel is minimum 5 minutes. know what this means? means its a distance away from our hostel.

Fact No.2
A chair is not as easy to hide like a CPU, plus U need to drag it/roll it. Covering with lab coat is so not gonna help.

Fact No.3
Uh, the time it was reportedly "stolen" its like in broad daylight. Not like we did it at nite (well duh like the audi is not locked at tat time la). Meanin whoever did it, did it in like BROAD daylight?? Meanin ppl do see them, meanin its not really a hidden act or anythin....i wonder is the word "theft" still applies here~~ *hMmmm* . Apart from that, no offense to my batchmates (if one of us REALLY did it) isn't kinda umm daff of them to do it so obviously and for god knows whatever reason.
Sure, i know sometimes my batchmates do some embarassing stuffs, but heck, we're Malaysians wert...like tah pau from wedding dinners, or ask for discounts at retail stores..but to "tah pau" chairs...seems absurd.

Fact No.4
If someone steals something, u'd think they left it somewher to be found and not keep it? I'd like to say i think we would know better to do something wrong and NOT show it? Sumore the accused is US. This kinda ridiculously stupid action would almost resemble wat local indians here would do, seeing from where i am now.

Yah well those are the few reasons which i think i SHould point out, feeling that our batch has already won categories of Best Worst batch in PIDC for:-
*drum roll plz*
1. Skipping Exams (year 2007)
2. Returning latest from Holidays ( year 2007 and 2008)
3. Not answering lecturers questions ( year 2007 and 2009)
4. Doing badly in exams (2008)
5. Recently for Skipping classes
6. Newest would have to be Chair theft

wow the awards sure do come pouring in~

Anyway, we still don't know who took it or for what purpose. One thing for sure though, this has become quite a laugh for us...though shud we be laughing since we're the accused one here?
